Father’s Day Recipes Dad Will Love!

I was looking through the Father’s Day category on Cook AZ I Do, and realized that there are quite a few recipes that I think most dad’s would love to have made for them this weekend.  So I thought I’d share a few with you in case you need some ideas for what to fix!

Steak Marinade

Whenever I think of Father’s Day, I always think of steak as that is what both my dad and my husband would probably like better than anything.  This recipe is for my favorite steak marinade.  It is really a good one – so full of flavor from fresh herbs, sesame oil, and lots of garlic.  Be sure to marinate the steak overnight for the best results.

Grilled Teriyaki Chicken

This is another one of my favorite marinades, but I like it best for chicken.  This Teriyaki Marinade has great flavor, and it really soaks into the chicken (again marinate overnight for good results).  I also love kebabs.  They are so colorful and a little bit more special so you can show dad how much you love him!

Arizona Quiche

Are you making breakfast for your dad instead?  This Arizona Quiche would be perfect as it has a little bit of spice to it, but not too much.

Roasted Bell Pepper and Egg Breakfast Pastries

Or, these Roasted Bell Pepper and Egg Breakfast Pastries are one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten. It takes a little more time, but you can do some of the prep a day ahead.

Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cupcakes

If your dad is like mine, he has a big sweet tooth!  These Reese’s Peanut Butter Cupcakes would be perfect to top off his meal.

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Dessert

Ice Cream Desserts are perfect for this time of year, and chocolate mint always seems to be a good choice.  This Fudgy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Dessert feeds a crowd and is made ahead of time which is nice.

Chocolate Chip and Chunk Cookies

Sometimes in the past when I haven’t known what to get my dad or my husband, I’ve made them cookies such as these Chocolate Chip and Chunk Cookies.  I think they appreciate it almost more than something store-bought.  I hope these recipes give you some ideas for what you can make for Father’s Day to make it special and to show dad just how much you appreciate him.  I wish all of you dads out there a wonderful day!
